It is hard to tell how the corners of the numbers were done based on the low res image from Azmie's site but I made all corners sharp. It looks like some corners are rounded but it is really hard to tell. There are two sets in the Netherlands font - as designed and plain. The as designed numbers are accessed through the number keys while the plain numbers through SHIFT+number keys. BTW I misinterpreted Azmie's Brazil AI. I was looking at the outline rather than image. I mistook Azmie's technique to hide potions of the circles that extend into the solid color portions as part of the design. The Brazil numerals should look something like those in Netherlands. - Toto Attachment: azmienederland.zip [See below for updated font]
From: "Toto" <toto@to.to> Date: Sun, 18 Jul 2010 16:17:57 +0800 Subject: Netherlands 2 Newsgroups: alt.binaries.fonts This is version 2 of Azmie WC2010 Netherlands. I reworked everything, both numbers and alphabets, based on the AI file posted by Bruce Wayne the other day. I tried to be faittful to what's in the AI but have to move things a bit for uniformity's sake. The Netherlands AI that Bruce Wayne posted is a lot better than the Brazil AI I got from Azmie. The "dotted" numbers are accessed through the SHIFT + number keys. The number keys will display the plain numbers. I have to hide the dotted numbers as this will cause the display in Windows' default font viewer to become sluggish or, at worst, crash Windows on opening of the font. The font is in True Type and Type 1. I cannot generate an OTF because Fontlab seems to go into an endless loop whenever I attempt to gnerate the OTF. I will see if I can generate one at work tomorrow. I will redo Slovenia next. Toto Attachment: azmie2nederland.zip Attachment: AzmieNederlands.gif Azmie WC2010 Netherlands
